New Director Announcement

We are very excited to share that Dr. Sophie M. Ladd, a professor in residence at the UNLV, is the new director of Southern Nevada Writing Project! Dr. Ladd is a lifetime Nevadan whose research and teaching specializes in the inclusion of diverse children’s literature in literacy instruction for elementary, early literacy education for at-risk populations, multi-literacies and classroom pedagogy. Current Co-Directors, Amber Lehner and Ben Koch will continue in their current capacity supporting youth programs and professional development opportunities.
